Ever thought what your final post would be, knowing it was to be your last?  Who would you acknowledge?  What would you say?

I've devoted a fair bit of thought to this and I've come to a conclusion.  A final post should be short.

A simple adios.

And thanks for all the fish... or whatever.

So, thanks.

There is no death. Only life.

I learned that while watching a local dance troupe perform The Bluebirds today. I hope they are right.

But I've heard that song before, and I also consider the Blue River Analogy. True that, most likely, but there may be more to it. That is the hope of the resurrection. God bless you.

I hope you will return from time to time in spite of this declaration. Giving up blogging isn't like giving up smoking. You can post without guilt at no cost to your health.

It's better to burn out than to fade away.

I might be back for Robbie Burns' Day on the 25th. (Haven't missed one yet.)

If you need to get in touch with me, a 'friend' has started a new blog. Leave a message at: www.theexistentialouthouse.blogspot.com

Yeah, Woozie.... no fading allowed. You hear me?
