JOURNAL/ MARCH 27

I remember when selling a story or a poem to a magazine used to validate my life.

I sold a story today.

I might have an extra beer tonight. Unless I fall asleep on the way to the fridge.

Sad, huh?

Thanks, Uno.

Yeah, you need a fairly tough hide. Years ago, I decided it wasn't the work -- just bad timing that led to rejection. I still believe it. (Often, the tenth time's the charm.)
